Este libro de firmas para una boda es el más especial que he hecho hasta ahora. Los novios son grandes admiradores de Harry Potter, así que la persona que me lo encargó, quería que el libro hiciera referencia a su pasión por este personaje y su mundo. Han sido muchas horas y días de trabajo, pues ninguna página es igual a otra. Aproveché el tamaño generoso de las guardas para colocar una ilustración de un campo de juego de Quidditch. También se incluyen páginas para pegar fotos, con un papel protector muy especial. Además, en la portada coloqué el amuleto más poderoso que existe, ¿lo reconocéis? En las fotografías no se aprecia bien, pero la funda protectora es de terciopelo verde por el exterior y raso bordado por el interior.

This guest book for a wedding is the most special I've done so far. The bride and groom are huge fans of Harry Potter, so the person who commissioned it from me wanted the book to reference their passion for this character and his world. It has been many hours and days of work, because every page has a different design. I put as endpapers an illustration of a Quidditch pitch. There are also included special pages to paste photos, with a very special protective paper. Also on the cover I placed the most powerful amulet that exists, do you recognize it?. The photographs do not show it well, but the protective cover is made of green velvet on the outside and embroidered satin on the inside.

Celebrar que una pareja lleva 50 años de feliz matrimonio es siempre una ocasión muy especial.

Rocío me pidió un libro de firmas para guardar un recuerdo de este momento tan memorable. El libro está encuadernado en tonos dorados (por supuesto) y además de las hojas para los mensajes de los invitados, lleva también unas hojas para colocar las fotos de un día tan inolvidable que, gracias a este libro, será recordado durante muchos años.

Celebrating that a couple has spent almost a lifetime together, that is, 50 years of happy marriage is always a very special occasion.

Rocío asked me for a guest book to keep a memory of this special moment. The book is bound in golden tones (of course) and in addition to the sheets for the guests’ messages, there are also some sheets to place the photos of an unforgettable day that, thanks to this book, will be remembered for many years.

Os traigo aquí el libro de firmas que me encargaron para la boda de Quique y Ana. Como los últimos que he hecho, lleva hojas para colocar las fotos informales que hacen los invitados con sus teléfonos móviles, ¡que no se pierda ni una! El libro iba dentro de una caja hecha especialmente para él.

I bring here the book of signatures that I was commissioned for the wedding of Quique and Ana.

Esta entrada está dedicada a los últimos libros de firmas que he hecho. Los dos son para conmemorar los 25 años de andadura de una pareja que sigue conservando lo más esencial para durar otros 25, el amor que se profesan uno al otro. This post is dedicated to the latest guest books I have made. Both are to commemorate the 25 years of life of a couple that still retains the most essential to last another 25, the love they profess to each other. It has been a pleasure to put something of myself in those two celebrations.

Para esta ocasión opté por una encuadernación con tornillos, que incluyó además hojas para pegar fotos

En las hojas destinadas a las dedicatorias de los invitados se ve la flor favorita de la novia (violetas) y la iglesia donde se casaron, muy querida por la pareja.
In the sheets for the words of the guests you can see the favorite flower of the bride (violets) and the church where they were married, a much loved church by the couple.

ALBUM DE BODA * WEDDING ALBUM

¡Parece que últimamente todo el mundo a mi alrededor ha decidido casarse! Mi prima Olga, acaba de hacerlo y tanto ella como Sergio (su recién estrenado marido) nos han hecho muy felices a todos. Mi regalo fue, cómo no, su álbum de fotos, para que cada vez que recuerde ese día, también recuerde lo que la queremos todos los que la conocemos.

El álbum está encuadernado con tornillos, que quedan ocultos bajo una solapa, quedando así un aspecto más elegante al abrir el álbum.

It seems that lately everyone around me has decided to get married! My cousin Olga just did it and she and Sergio (her husband) have made us all very happy. My gift was, of course, her photo album, so that each time she remembers that day, she also remembers that all of us love her.

The album is bound with screws which are hidden under a flap, leaving a more elegant appearance when opening the album.
