As there could be no other way, this weekend has been of contrasts; a hot Saturday that makes us hold still the summer, and a cool rainy Sunday that reminds us of the date on the calendar. What I like about the autumn are those sunsets filled with clouds that arrive to match the wonder of some paintings that we remember having seen.

Un pez demasiado rápido* A fish too fast

But the rain is very much needed at this stage of the year as you can see from the last image.
Y finalmente llegó la tan deseada lluvia...
And finally came the much-desired rain...

NUEVO ENCARGO, NUEVOS RETOS * NEW ORDER, NEW CHALLENGES

I can't go into details of the project that I am doing right now, but the novelty is that it will be a drawing embossed in brass and embedded in the cover. This is the first time that I am working with brass and I am enjoying much imagining everything I could do with this material. I hope to be able to show you soon the final result.

...Y LA ESPONJA SE HIZO ARTE * AND THE SPONGE BECAME ART

This time I have placed the images before my words, for you to understand right away the title of this entry. I don´t know personally to the artist of which I'm going to talk about, but I knew of her through my sister who brought me those two samples of an unexpected art. As if she were a sculptor of stone, Inma sculpts a piece of sponge to discover the figure that she imagines in the interior of the material. Then I taught two more samples, it will do that from today you see the sponge of your bathroom with other eyes, do not be within some fantastic being waiting to be rescued?

The artist who redeems these wonderful beings from their prison of pores is publishing in her blog the samples of her talent, if you have been wanting more, click on the link below the next image to go to her blog. Simply incredible.

Cocoliso ahora también en inglés * Now also Cocoliso in english

Begins a new season after the summer with a novelty in this blog; it may also be read in English. In attention to the visits from abroad that I have received during this year, and as this blog is visited regularly by people who may not understand Spanish, I decided to write also in English those entries to be published from now on. Besides I will be able to practice this language that I like so much, so dear visitor from abroad: enjoy your visit!
